In 2009 writer John Berger visited Le Corbusier’s pilgrimage chapel at Ronchamp in eastern France. His companions on the trip were two Benedictine nuns from Connecticut and the artist John Christie.
Their journey together became a kind of pilgrimage, both spiritual and architectural. This book records their experiences, conversations and the lasting impact this remarkable building and its architect had on the four of them.
