A slow reading of new 2024 books as I've decided to revisit ones I've read over the years like Possession by A.S. Byatt, but my favourite book of 2024 is Inspector Imanishi Investigates by Seicho Matsumoto, and close by is Simpatía by Rodrigo Blanco Calderon. But the rowdiest by a mile was Mexican Gothic, by Silvia Moreno-Garcia.
