‘Stress Test’, a Soho Radio show from Rough Trade Books, sees its hosts and guest poets write poems in timed conditions, listening to fifteen minute playlists and gleaning titles from the songs, then sharing their poems afterwards. Listeners are invited to do the same. Lily Blacksell has been tuning into ‘Stress Test’, live or otherwise, since April 2020. She urges you to do the same. Here are twenty-three of the poems she has written. A couple of titles have changed, edits have been made here and there, but most poems remain true to their original versions.
